Summer has finally arrived. It seems just like yesterday we had frost, and now it up into the 90's. Only in Michigan can we experience these unique weather swings. Regardless of the temperature swings, we still live in one of the most beautiful states in the United States. Our summer is short, so get out there and enjoy it.
The summer season is wonderful but can be hard on your hair. We would like to give you some healthy hair tips for the season.
- We suggest you wash your hair after using a pool with Malibu Shampoo for Swimmers. This will remove any chemicals from the pool and help maintain you hair color. It is sulfate free and very cost effective, great choice for use after swimming in a pool.
- A good deep treatment conditioner should be used on an average of once a week (45 minutes up to one hour) to help maintain the healthy moisture in your hair. We offer an Italian Deep Treatment by the name of Cremactive, it is the best!
- Shampoo's designed for color treated hair are going to give you more moisture as well as the daily conditioner. We have products from both Mop and Dikson that are excellent choices for this application.
- If you color your hair, it is suggested you cover it when in extreme sun if you have the opportunity.
